They’re all right, because “a drip system” can mean a single raised bed or a whole landscaped yard. So let’s break it down by what you’re actually trying to water, with real 2026 prices for the parts.

The short version: a DIY system for one garden bed runs $40 to $70. A typical vegetable garden lands between $100 and $200. A multi-zone setup for a whole yard, done yourself, is $200 to $500. Professional installation starts around $800 and climbs fast from there.

Two catches: the included tubing is often 50 feet when you need 100, and the emitters inside are whatever the brand wanted to move that quarter.

Where to save, and where not to

Save on: tubing (store-brand poly tubing is fine), stakes, goof plugs, and basic fittings. These are commodity parts.
