Why I Built SoakerDrip
I got tired of garden-watering advice that was either written for commercial growers or so vague it left me guessing. Soaker hoses and drip irrigation are simple tools once you understand a few real numbers — flow rate, run time, soil type — so I started writing the guides I wished existed: specific, tested against real conditions, and honest about what does and doesn’t work.
How I Work
Every article on this site follows the same process. I start with primary sources: university cooperative extension publications, EPA WaterSense guidance, and manufacturer technical specs. Where possible, I test the products and setups I write about rather than relying on marketing copy. When I’m not certain about something, I say so instead of guessing.
SoakerDrip is a one-person project, not a faceless content farm, which means I stand behind what’s published here. If a guide contains affiliate links, I disclose it, and no sponsor or affiliate relationship changes which product I recommend.
